    S.Anitha of III B.Sc.,Nutrition & Dietics was selected to represent Periyar University Hockey women team. she also participated in South zone Inter University Hockey women tournament  held at  Bharathidasan University, Trichy  from 26.12.24 to 30.12.24                       Congratulations to the students of TGAC

  Won Bronze medal in Periyar Iniversity Inter-Collegiate Weight Lifting Tournament V.S.Manickavasagam of II M.A., English won the Bronze medal in Weight Lifitng (73 kg category)  in Periyar University Inter- Collegiate tournament held at Pavai Arts & Science College, Pachal, Rasipuram on November 5th 2024. 

       S.R.Hariprasath of III BA Polical Science & T.Methankumar of II BA History were selected to represent Periyar University Taekwondo men team. They also participated in All India Inter University Taekwondo men tournament  held at  Guru nanak Dev University, Amritsar, Punjab  from 06.11.24 to 09.11.24                       Congratulations to the students of TGAC

  A.Janani of II MA Polical Science was selected to represent Periyar University Kabaddi women team. And our team won II place in South zone Inter University Kabaddi women tournament  held at  Alagappa University, Karaikudi  from 29.11.24 to 02.12.24                        Congratulations to the students of TGAC

  Won  Periyar University Intercollegiate Taekwondo overall championship      Periyar University Intercollegiate Taekwondo tournament was conducted by Periyar University at Don Bosco College, Pappanahalli, Dharmapuri on 09.10.24. The following Students of Thiruvalluvar Govt. Arts College won 2 Gold medals & 2 silver medals.  And also our Thiruvalluvar Govt.   Won III Place & IV Place in District level Marathon      K.Gunadevan of II B.Com won Gold medal & Rs. 3000 cash prize and S.Mohan of II BA History won bronze medal & Rs.1000 cash prize in  marathon  conducted by Namakkal District red ribbon club on September 1st 2024.
