     SPORTS COUNCIL MEETING

The Sports council meeting for the Year 2024-2025 was conducted on 15.07.2024 at 12.30 pm at the Principal's chamber. The Principal Dr.S.Banumathi, Dr.A.Vennila Director of Physical Education,  members of sports council  Dr.V.Sadhasivam, Head of the department of Mathematics, Dr.P. Prakash Associate Professor department of  History, Dr.S.Jayakumar Assistant Professor department of  Political Science, Dr.S.Malarvizhi Assistant Professor department of  Computer Science, S.R.Hariprasath - III BA Pol.Sci. K.Gunadevan - II B.Com, A.Janani- II MA Pol.Sci. K.Logapriya -II MA History were in the meeting.

       Annula Sports day was celebrated on 13.04.2023 in a grand manner.  The principal of the college, Dr.S.Banumathi presided over the function. Thiru.T.K.K.Senthil kumar, Deputy superintendent of Police, Rasipuram was invited to be the Chief Guest, who has delivered wonderful special address to appreciate, motivate and encourage the sports aspirants. Dr.R.Sivakumar, Head, Political Science delivered a wonderful felicitation address.   The winners and runners up of the various competitions were distributed certificate with medal and memento by the chief guest. The prize winners were praised by all the dignitaries and teaching staff of the college excitedly.

Gold & Silver Medal in State level Archery & Participated in the Nationals

            Won gold & silver medals in state level Archery &  participated in the nationals   A.kaviarasi of I BA English won  3 Gold medals and 1 Silver medal in State level Archery tournament held at MGR janaki College for women, Adyar, Chennai from 14.10.22 to 22.10.22. and also she was selected to represent Tamilnadu team & participated in the 42nd NTPC Junir National Championship held at Panaji Goa (North Goa) from 03.11.22 to 12.11.22.                                                   Congratulations to the winner
